Phil's Physical Activities
My favorite sports...and that's it.

It's time for the Sports Report with P Roan:

Yeah, so here's the low down. I play water polo and swim (and live my life in my spare time). I finished out my senior year as captain.  My last game was CCS quaterfinals versus Menlo.  But although high school season is over, water polo is not. So, if you are in the area, please come out and watch a game or two. Fan support is GREATLY appreciated (hey, if you come watch a game or a swim meet, I will put your name and picture up on this page -- wow, what an incentive). Anyway, I think you get the point.
In polo, I am primarily a hole set (see above) - that's the guy that sits in front of the goal, get the ball a lot, gets beat up more, scores a lot, and runs the offense, basically. Because the hole is such a demanding position, usually the teams best player sets, and this is a compliment for which I am appreciative. I also play all the other postions if necessary. My favorite place to be is on the left hander's outside position on a man-up situation (oh yeah, I'm left-handed, so the picture below is me throwing with my bad hand).
That covers polo for now.
For swimming, I am primarily a distance swimmer, which means in high school meets I swim the 500 free. But distance breaststroke e events are my best. Unfortunately, they only have the 100 and 200 in club meets and the 100 in high school. So I do those. Some of my best times (short course) are:
    500 free- 5:00.33
    100 breast- 1:03.93
    200 breast- 2:16.84
And that's a wrap.
